In the first few months of joining ISRO, after having designed my prototypes and sending them for fabrication I signed up to be a volunteer of the Hackathon program.

Soon, I had become the Vice-President of the Task force. It was truly a life turning experience, solely because the participant (students) were so inquisitive and enthusiastic at such a young age.

42 students of 8th and 9th grade students were selected from schools across Kerala through a two level examination conducted online

  • I had prepared the MCQ questions for 2 rounds of selection

  • Participated in curriculum planning and design

  • Procured and arranged kits for hackathon

  • Mentored students for their individual project and participated in debugging their circuits

  • Had late night discussions with the students on varied topics

  • The only non-student in their WhatsApp group
