We designed a Robotic ARM based dental chair. Saveetha Dental College And Hospitals had filed a patent for it.

1. Dental chairs are the biggest investment for any dentist 

2. Dentist need their assistant to be present during any operation

   • To shift the light position and focus it correctly on the area of interest ​

   • This cannot be easily done by doctors who are wearing a gloves, so to avoid contamination they either 

     • Ask their assistants to shift the light ​

     • Or remove their gloves to do it themselves 

3. This is an unique problem, specifically known to Dentist ​

4. Our friend, Dr. Harini was the one who exposed us (Sridhar and me) to this idea
